Installing on Windows

Next Habit for Windows is currently an early desktop beta and is not code signed yet. Because of that, Windows may show a warning the first time you open the installer.

Step 1

Download the installer

Only use the Windows installer linked directly from the official Next Habit website.

Step 2

Open the .exe

Launch the downloaded installer as normal. A Windows security screen can be expected on the first run.

Step 3

Click More info

If Windows shows Windows protected your PC, expand the dialog by clicking More info.

Step 4

Click Run anyway

Continue only if the installer came from nexthabit.com. If you would rather wait, you can keep using the web app or mobile apps for now.

Do not disable Windows security features globally. The only safe time to continue is when you downloaded the installer directly from the official Next Habit website and expected to see this beta installer prompt.
